What's waiting for you:

The role we are hiring for focuses on three primary areas of expertise: Leading and developing the UX/UI team in Ho Chi Minh City, taking ownership of design processes and the internal design system and delivering high-quality UX/UI for both client projects and internal products.

Leading and Developing the UX/UI Team:

Mentor team members on design best practices and personal growth
Foster open collaboration between UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers
Conduct performance reviews and develop individual career development plans
Lead recruitment efforts to scale the team as needed
Provide thoughtful design critiques and feedback to maintain a culture of collaboration and growth
Advocate for the design team both internally and externally
Help organize social events and coordinate training sessions

Taking Ownership of the Design System and Shaping Design Processes:

Maintain consistency across design components and lead documentation
Regularly update and evolve the design system within the company
Ensure cross-team adherence to design standards
Develop design processes tailored to individual project needs

Delivering High-Quality UX/UI for Projects and Internal Products:

Design wireframes and conduct workshops with clients/users to test and refine ideas
Provide innovative and user-centered UX/UI solutions
Collaborate in an agile setup with stakeholders like developers, product managers, product owners, and sales
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best design practices
Facilitate and lead workshops to gather requirements and drive product innovation

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Design (Graphic, Interaction, Visual), Computer Science, Human Factors, or related fields; or equivalent work experience
At least 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, leadership or team lead experience is a plus
Expertise in all stages of the design process, from ideation and visualizations to greenfield projects and modernizing existing products
Strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices and methodologies as well aproficiency in user-centered design, design thinking, and related methodologies
Proficiency in design tools like Figma; Miro experience is a bonus
Experience facilitating design workshops
Strong skills in conceptual user experience design and visualization
High attention to detail, with an emphasis on aesthetics and data analysis
Empathy in understanding and responding effectively to user needs and team dynamics
Open-minded with a positive, proactive attitude and a solution-oriented approach
Ability to receive and give constructive feedback and critique
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
